updates from Seattle

The most important thing is that, all in all, we are well. As evidenced by the things that make our children cry:

 

1) Jeremy: Ruby is singing for too long of a turn and I haven't had a chance to sing my song (again)!

 

2) Ruby: Jeremy is annoying me*, he won't leave me alone! (Then we tell Jeremy to leave her alone... then SHE seeks him out. That is called, 'fun for the whole family!'.)

 

*Jeremy is in fact perfecting the art of annoying his sister. Ruby is already a seasoned button pusher. 

 

Our arguments with the kids are often over getting them to eat more food... The concerns discussed around the table are about Donald Trump with the kids asking if they have to worry about being deported or not (because they have Native American in them). (AND I realize that I can write this statement with a laugh, while others are not be so privileged...)

 

We are blessed. Hope you are well, too!

Figgy Pudding Caroling event

We went to Seattle's Figgy Pudding Caroling event event on Friday night, A caroling contest to raise money for each groups' favorite nonprofit organization. Jeremy fell asleep with the string of his balloon entwined in his fingers.
