Sold!

Last weekend the kids made earrings out of beads I had. The next day they sold them at the Ballard farmers market. I wasn't sure if they would sell any, some, or all. So I prepared them for the worst. They sold out and split the proceeds!

Here is a picture of Jeremy with his last customer wearing earrings he made and holding up earrings Ruby made (that she bought for her friend).

After being put to bed...Jeremy comes down and says, 'hey guys. I can't sleep cause I'm too cold.'
Me: want me to turn off your fan?
JJ: No. I was wondering if it would be possible if one of you guys could put some pants on me? You think so?
Eric: Sure thing!

JJ: and I was wondering also...how do they carve wood?

When I grow up...

JJ: When I grow up I'm going to be a Nurse and a doctor, plant things, build houses, work for the city and be in the government compartment.

And so she did.

Lately, this is the type of artwork that Jeremy is coming home with. He likes to first decorate paper, then twist it, and then wrap it with colored tape. Sometimes the tape entirely covers the drawing and decoration on which he just worked so hard. It's either this, or tiny bits of paper that he's cut up. Interesting...

We like to think of ourselves as peaceful, green, crunchy, liberals... Jeremy got all dressed up tonight to go to Jasper's preschool benefit and had the most fun making really big guns out of the toys there.
