Kids hair cuts today...
Kids hair cuts today include sitting in kid sized cars and being given baskets of toys to play with. Still, JJ wanted nothing to do with it when it was his turn.
Kids just having fun together
After having both gotten their hair cut, the kids are having some fun. Jeremy didn't do much better at the Salon today than he did with his first cut. Lots of screaming and tears. At least he held still. They gave each a nice cut, I think.

Only happy if he's being held...
JJ's only happy if he's being held with all the trauma his new teeth are causing him. So, it's on mama's back while she doing dishes.

Ouchy molars!!
Jeremy's next 8 teeth ( including the molars) all seem to be coming in at the same time and he is in tremendous pain. Drooling up a storm, doesn't want to eat or drink and is just crying all the time. I've tried ibuprofen and acetaminophen and a naturopathic remedy (at the same time!!!) and he still is screaming. He's not wanting anything in his mouth; doesn't even close it all the way. Poor babe!! :(

Update on us...
Sorry all - not sure what is going on with the video clips. I tried to re-post tonight and was able to fix one, but then kept getting kicked out on the others. I'll try again tomorrow and see if I can get it to work.
Eric has one month until he graduates and we are all VERY, VERY excited about that accomplishment and very proud of him for making it through. Then there will be one more hurdle, taking the certification exam, which is scheduled for mid January. Then, THEN, he'll be the real deal RN! Yea!
Jeremy is following in his sister's bite marks. I thought that if we had one biter then we got to check that off the list. Not so! We are working with him on it, and hopefully will nip it in the bud. The funny thing (?) is that when he's reprimanded, he cries - frustration that he's not getting his way I guess! He is starting to communicate - does the sign language for 'more', 'milk', 'all done', 'bye, bye', 'cheese', 'water' and 'banana'. Says the word (sort of) for Ba/'ball', 'bye, bye', Dadda, Mamma, 'Ah Dun'/all done, Nooooo, up (also means down), hi, apple (can mean any kind of food)... I think that's about it.
Ruby is lots of fun. So glad I didn't give her away when she was 3! ;-) Loves to play princess, always trying to give away this or that to her friends as gifts, always wanting to make gifts and always on the go! She's learning her letters and numbers and can recognize all of them, most of the time. She's working on writing her name, but still usually writes it out from right to left. Every day we see progress, which is neat. She's become a good big sister and is usually very good with her little brother. It's lots of fun to watch them play together. Jeremy really wants to do what big sis is doing (already that's begun)!
I have started back up my job search and am really hoping for good things out of 2012. :)
Love to you all! The kids miss their grandparents, well, Ruby does, and so do we.
